Experience

Since 2010, I've been tutoring students ranging from first grade to college. I enjoy helping young people of all ages discover the power of language and the joy of learning. My goal is always to help my students achieve their educational objectives as well as find real-life meaning in their studies. A lifetime of experience in international non-profit work has equipped me to relate to and communicate with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds. I'm a third culture kid who enjoys exploring new places and making new friends. The places I've lived, worked, and traveled include the US, Mexico, Italy, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, the Congo, South Sudan, Russia, the Ukraine, Estonia, and Latvia. Currently, I'm based out of Long Island, NY and focused on completing my studies and helping my husband build our marketing and consulting business. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, volunteering, and playing my guitar.
